How To Play - Just One Board Game

Just One is a cooperative party game in which players discover as many mystery words as possible.

Just One Rules & Gameplay

1. Set up the mystery word

The active guesser closes their eyes. One card is placed in the holder showing 5 possible words. Everyone else picks a number 1–5 to choose which word is the mystery word.

2.Write your clues

Every other player writes exactly one clue word on their mini easel. You can write anything a synonym, a description, a related word, but you cannot write the mystery word itself or a variation of it.

3. Eliminate identical clues

Before showing the guesser anything, players compare clues. Any clue that appears more than once (including spelling variations) is hidden and cannot be shown.

4.The guesser makes their guess

Remaining clues are revealed. The guesser sees them all at once and makes one guess. They can also choose to pass if they have no idea.

5.Score and repeat

A correct guess = 1 point. A pass = 0 points. A wrong guess = -1 point (and the next card is also lost). Try to score as many of the 13 cards as possible!
