Skull Board Game

A Thrilling Game of Strategy and Bluffing

Skull Game is the ultimate test of bluffing, where everything happens in the players’ minds. In this fast-paced and strategic Skull Card Game, each player starts by placing a face-down card. Then, players take turns adding cards to the pile until someone feels confident enough to claim they can flip a set number of cards and only reveal roses. Other players can overbid, claiming they can turn even more cards face up. The highest bidder must then reveal their cards, starting with their own. If they reveal only roses, they win. If they show a skull, they lose and must remove one of their cards from play.

The game continues until a player successfully completes two challenges to win. Skull Board Game is not about luck; it’s about reading your opponents, keeping a poker face, and strategically placing your bets.

This bluffing game is perfect for informal settings like bars and parties, as it’s really easy to learn and play. Whether you’re looking for a fun challenge with friends or a quick game to play between rounds, Skull Game is a must-have for any gathering.

How To Play - Skull Board Game

Skull is a fast and thrilling bluffing game where players place cards face-down and dare each other to flip them. The tension builds with every bid and every flip.

Skull Board Rules & Gameplay

1. Set up the game

Each player takes a personal mat and four round discs, three showing flowers and one showing a skull. Place your mat in front of you with the flower side facing up. Choose a starting player. The goal is simple: be the first player to win two rounds.

2. Place your first disc

Every player secretly chooses one disc and places it face-down on their mat. No one knows whether you placed a flower or your skull. This is your opening move and your first opportunity to bluff your opponents.

3. Add more discs or make a bid

On your turn you can either place a second disc face-down on your mat to build your stack, or skip placing and instead make a bid. A bid is a number representing how many flowers you believe you can flip across all mats without hitting a skull.

Just One Board Game
4. Raise the bid or pass

Once a bid is made, no more discs can be placed. Play goes clockwise and each player must either bid a higher number or pass. You cannot bid more than the total number of discs on all mats. For example if there are five discs on the table, the maximum bid is five.

Just One Board Game
5. Flip the discs

The highest bidder must flip that many discs face-up, always starting with their own stack first. Once their own discs are all revealed, they choose which other player’s top disc to flip next. If they complete the full bid without hitting a skull, they win the round.

6. Win or lose the round

If the bidder flips all required discs showing only flowers, they win the round and mark a point on their mat. If they reveal a skull at any point, they lose and must discard one of their discs randomly. The first player to win two rounds wins the game.
